R.S. 32:792(1)(d) Use of false, misleading or unsubstantiated advertising in connection with his business. Two Thousand Dollars and no/100 ($2,000.00) each for twenty (20) counts of La. R. S. 32:792(B)(2) Committing a fraudulent act in selling, purchasing, or dealing in used motor vehicles or misrepresenting the terms and conditions of a sale, purchase, or contract for sale or purchase of a used motor vehicle or any interest including an option to purchase. Two Thousand Dollars and no/100 ($2,000.00) each for one (1) count of La. R.S. 32:792(B)(4) Knowingly engaging in tampering with, adjusting, altering, changing, setting back, disconnecting, or failing to connect the odometer of any motor vehicle, or causing any of the foregoing to occur to an odometer of a used motor vehicle, so as to reflect a lower mileage than the true mileage driven by the used motor vehicle. Five Hundred Dollars and no/100 ($500.00) each for one hundred five (105) counts of La. R.S. 32:792(B)(8) Engaging in a practice failing to deliver certificates of title to a consumer within the time limitations prescribed in R.S. 32:705. Two Thousand Dollars and no/100 ($2,000.00) each for one (1) count of La. R.S. 32:792(B)(10) Engaging in the practice of failing to remit sales tax where the tax was collected by the dealer. One Hundred Dollars and no/100 ($100.00) each for one (1) count of La. R.S. 32:792(B)(11) Engaging in the practice of leaving the certificate of title open or unassigned to the dealer. Five Hundred Dollars and no/100 ($500.00) each for three hundred twenty-three (323) counts of La. R.S. 32:792(B)(12) Engaging in the practice of issuing temporary license plates or temporary dealer’s plates in violation of the law. Two Thousand and no/100 ($2,000.00) each for one (1) count of La. R.S. 32:792(B)(13) – Failing to maintain records for a period of up to three years. The Used Motor Vehicle Dealer Salesperson’s license issued to BEAU GUIDRY’S is hereby REVOKED and the AFFORDABLE IMPORTS, LLC’S dealership license is hereby REVOKED.

One Thousand Dollars and no/100 ($1,000.00) each for one (1) count in violation of La. R.S. 32:792(B)(12) Issuing temporary license plates or temporary dealer’s plates in violation of the law. Five Hundred Dollars and no/100 ($500.00) each for one (1) count in violation of La. R.S. 32:792(B)(13) Failing to maintain records for a period of up to three years.

This dealership was assessed fines for the following violations: Two Thousand Dollars and no/100 ($2,000.00) each for one (1) count in violation of La. R.S. 32:792(B)(2) Committing a fraudulent act in selling, purchasing, or dealing in used motor vehicles or misrepresenting the terms and conditions of a sale, purchase, or contract for sale or purchase of a used motor vehicle or any interest including an option to purchase. Two Hundred Dollars and no/100 ($200.00) each for thirty-six (36) counts in violation of La. R.S. 32:792(B)(8) Engaging in a practice failing to deliver certificates of title to a consumer within the time limitations prescribed in R.S. 32:705. One Thousand Dollars and no/100 ($1,000.00) each for six (6) counts in violation of La. R.S. 32:792(B)(11) Engaging in the practice of leaving the certificate of title open or unassigned to the dealer. Two Hundred Dollars and no/100 each for fifteen (15) counts in violation of La. R.S. 32:792(B)(12) Engaging in a practice of issuing temporary license plates or temporary dealer’s plates in violation of the law and Two Thousand Dollars and no/100 ($2,000.00) for costs of the investigation and administrative hearing. The Used Motor Vehicle Dealer License issued to A-1 Autoplex, LLC are hereby placed on SUSPENSION until all fines and costs assessed in this matter are paid in full and all requirements for licensure are met and DESTINI BOWLING AND DAMIEN BOWLING attend the Dealer Educational Seminar.
